Kate McKinney
Director of Clinical Services
Kate McKinney is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has been supporting children and families since 2015. Since earning her BCBA in 2018, she has dedicated her career to helping children build meaningful skills and empowering families through evidence-based, compassionate behavioral support.
Kate’s passion lies in truly partnering with families. She believes that progress is strongest when everyone feels heard, understood, and supported. Her approach centers on collaboration — not only with caregivers, but also with teachers, therapists, and all related service providers who play a role in a child’s life. By working as a team, Kate helps create consistent, meaningful support across home, school, and community settings.

Chief Operating Officer
Jacqueline Godwin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist. Jacquie brings to Aurora Autism Centers over 19 years of experience managing and providing ABA therapy and support for children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Jacquie believes every child is unique and has a strong enthusiasm to ensure each team is built to best embrace and meet the needs of each and every child.
Throughout her experience, she has seen the value in a collaborative approach for the child, family, and clinicians and is excited to bring this model to Beyond Autism Services.
When not working, Jacquie enjoys making memories with her husband, 2 children, and 3 furry friends in her hometown of Media, PA.
Jennifer Bender

Jennifer Bender
Director of Client Relations
Jennifer Bender is a PA Licensed Behavior Specialist and our Director of Client Relations. During her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, Jen worked in Child Behavior research labs for Temple University and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), assisting clinicians in the implementation of school-wide positive behavior support programs.
Throughout her Master’s program in Behavior Analysis, Jen worked as a full-time Clinical Research Assistant on the Infant Brain Imaging Study in the Center for Autism Research at CHOP. These experiences, as well as her time as a direct ABA technician, guided Jen’s passion for advocacy and education for parents and children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
Through this role, Jen aims for our team to be a resource for families navigating the complex process of enrolling in ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services. She believes in bridging the gap between diagnosis and treatment through a comprehensive admissions process.
Jen grew up in and still lives in the city of Philadelphia. She and her husband Mark welcomed their first child in 2020 to a very large extended family! Cousin time is a favorite, as are trips to the shore and time spent reading a good book.

Gosia joined the field of ABA in 2018, with several years of experience in accounting and finance operations. Gosia works closely with our Aurora team members and families to navigate the complex process of billing and insurance coverage for these important services. As Aurora Autism Centers’ Director of Business Operations and Revenue Cycle, Gosia is passionate about breaking through barriers to service access, allowing providers and families to focus more on their child’s clinical care. She is especially excited to partner with this amazing team of clinicians in our collaborative effort to promote the best possible program outcomes! In her free time, Gosia enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Eric, and two daughters, Julie and Sara. They can often be found enjoying a concert or hockey game together!

Taylor Stigale

Taylor is a Registered Behavior Technician and our Director of HR and Scheduling. Taylor has worked with clients as an RBT since 2018 and brings prior administrative experience to our team. As our Director of HR and Scheduling, Taylor works to ensure the onboarding process for new employees runs smoothly, as well as maintaining our client’s and therapist’s schedules. She brings efficiency and organization to our team, which is essential in keeping the administrative team organized. Taylor grew up and still lives in Delaware County. In her free time, she loves spending time and making memories with her husband and two children.

Theresa is a dedicated Mother to two young children. When not working, Theresa can be found spending time with her husband and children or in the kitchen cooking. With her family, she enjoys going to the beach, adventuring, and exploring restaurants. Theresa loves to spend time cooking and perfecting versatile techniques – Whether it’s on a grill, griddle, rotisserie oven, or stovetop – Theresa loves to create delicious recipes! Professionally, Theresa brings over 10 years of experience to Aurora Autism Centers in the delivery of ABA Therapy and a lifetime of experience with the special needs community. Growing up Theresa had a sister with profound intellectual and physical disabilities; her sister was instrumental in her passion and dedication to the field. Theresa’s favorite aspects of her clinical practice include: Celebrating every victory with clients and their families no matter how small or large the skill may be, collaborating across practices, and helping integrate strong support and clinical system for clients and their families. Theresa received her master’s degree from Eastern University in Counseling Psychology and she immediately went on to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Theresa’s clinical style is always child-led with an emphasis on trauma-informed care. Theresa wholeheartedly believes a child’s happiness and comfort in therapy is paramount and focuses on teaching communication skills through the modality the child chooses.

Julia is so excited to join the team as Aurora Autism Center’s Intake Coordinator! Julia’s experience in ABA started in 2013 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where she truly cherished the relationships she had with her clients. Julia loves providing support and resources through the intake process and aims to make the transition to starting services as stress-free as possible for families. Julia grew up and still lives in Delaware county with her husband Brian and dog Maggie. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends and finding an excuse to cook or bake a new recipe!

As Client Services Specialist, Heidi is often the first point of contact for families. She guides caregivers through the intake process with compassion, clear communication, and a commitment to making their transition into services as smooth and stress-free as possible. From gathering intake documentation to answering questions and providing ongoing support, Heidi strives to ensure every family feels informed, welcomed, and cared for.
Heidi brings eight years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her passion for this community began early in her career, and she continues to find joy in helping families access the resources and support that can make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives.
A proud Delaware County native, Heidi still resides there with her husband, daughter, two golden retrievers—and a baby on the way! Outside of work, she can usually be found spending quality time with her family and dogs, or cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Heidi is grateful for the opportunity to support families during such an important part of their journey and looks forward to welcoming new families to Aurora Autism Centers.

Related Services Director
Emily Miller is a Pennsylvania licensed and American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about her work with the pediatric population. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from West Chester University. Emily brings over six years of experience to Aurora Autism Centers, working with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Emily discovered her passion for working with children while interning at a pediatric therapy center during graduate school. Through this experience, and her clinical experience since, she has learned that collaboration and open communication is key to promoting growth in the children that she serves. Emily enjoys working with children of all ages and is PECS and PROMPT level one trained. She has received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and continues to develop her skillset in this area.
Emily resides in Glen Mills, PA with her husband and fur baby, Zoey. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family!
